INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Well, I haven't posted pictures of my babies here in a while, so I thought I'd pop in and share some. :) My babies from Meyer were 6 weeks old yesterday, and the ones from Brad are about 7 weeks old. Here are the Meyer babies:

Elda the Silver Gray Dorking! Also known as Elda Cuddles because she's just so cuddly! :love

I love the dorkings, so pretty! LOL at your big boned bielie. Isn't it amazing how BIG they are? They are a really docile, fun breed!

I'm parting with my black pair of silkies if anyone is interested. They are just under a year old. They have leakage, but would pair nicely with paint or partridge. They are correct otherwise. I am very cautious about re-homing my birds, so I apologize in advance for being particular about where they go. ;)
I'd be interested Kelly! Let me know if they are still available.

Okay, I have a girl from louisville who just wants him. If I can find a paint hen, Im keeping him, but if I cant then I will sell him. I have a few that Im debating about. You will have to come over sometime and help me look through them and decide what to keep. I am having difficulty deciding. To emotionally attached.

I'd be happy to take just the hen lol. I have some hens I need to sell, but also don't want to. But most don't have much middle toe feathering. I'd have a beautiful partridge cockerel for you but his crest is literally horrible. Amazing leg feathering though. All the ones I held back for breeders I'm not that happy with most of them. But so hard to make the call on who to get rid of!

I dot have experience with australorps, but you will have to wait and see how there temperaments turn out. But you will probably have to get rid of at least one. With a ratio of 1 rooster to 4 hens, they will probably get over mated

Ya I agree they are a large bird and rooster damage would be an issue. I would wait to see which one is friendlier and rehome the other one. They may have issues with each other too. My Australops are pretty docile, but very vocal. But I don't have a rooster. So I have no idea about there temperament.
