Beautiful Kab! Are the 4 month olds the two in question? And ol Bluebarry is a stud (Bluebarry) muffin!!! Haha lol get it Bluebarry muffin haha ok I'm done with jokes today that's the best I got. :) Kab what bantam Cochins do you have? I don't recall seeing them?!!?

We are 6 miles outside of downtown Indy, near Lafayette Scare mall (inside joke for the West siders that don't go near the mall after dark).
We have 8 hens and 2 chicks, and we get about 5 eggs a day. Our hens don't free range, but they have a decent sized area to range in. This is half of their L-shaped run. This part is 10'x30'.

We have a larger city-sized lot, with neighbors on 3 sides of us. Our neighbors in the back have teenage kids and they frequently pop their heads over the fence to see what's going on in our garden and our chicken run. I'm not concerned (or embarassed) by the noise, although like others have said, the egg song does get a little loud. I've typically not been concerned by the smell of the chicken coop or the chicken run, but when it rains, it can get a little smelly.
Hope this info helps you.

WHAT!!!! I've been fighting a 11 year old girl over a GL Cochin bantam here at the fair! Cathy is wanting to get a Barred Cochin!

So frustrated right now. I went to the noon zoning meeting. They changed the location of the noon meeting! The original flyer said it was at the State Fairgrounds and they moved it downtown. The frustrating thing is guess where I came from? Downtown!

I was not the only one there for the meeting -but the place was totally dead. It took us awhile to even find someone to tell us what was going on. I did not leave the fairgrounds until 12:15. So I figured I would be at least 45 min. late by the time I got back downtown, figured out where I was going, found a parking place . . .Already fighting a splitting headache - so I came home. I don't have anyone to watch my daughter tonight, so I am trying to decide if I will go and bring her or not.

Tonights meeting is at the State Fairgrounds in Discovery hall just like the flyer says- once we found someone and they found someone who knew what was going on, they gave us the new flyer but that was a little late!

So if anyone goes tonight, let me know how it goes.
