INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Meet Sir Loin he is a five month old (today) Charlet steer. Yesterday he weighed in at 480# of pure muscle. This guy is a beast! He was not happy with me at all yesterday, he almost cleared my stall walls!! but has settled down nice today actually somewhat friendly and will sorta let us pet his head.

I am truly very excited to add the color to my eggs basket and the Orpington these came from are VERY nice birds.

Actually, there's a number of varieties of them I'd love to have -- my hatchery buffs can't compare to the really big fluffy butts!

He's a good looking steer! Is someone going to show him or is he just for food? Didn't you get a Holstein calf too?

Chicks have started hatching today in the incubator.  Now I'm trying to stay out of the basement and let them hatch in peace.

My question for the thread is:

I'll not be setting tomorrow's chicken eggs, is there anyone interested in tomorrows chicken eggs?  There would not be a whole lot of any one breed but It would be a nice assortment.

What breeds would they be? One of the CCLs I bought from you is thinking about being broody!
