INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I just wanted to pop in for a minute and say Hi. Things here have bn pretty bad the last few months. I'm waiting on my surgery...still! Had t take my husband to ER last Wednesday because he was/is having severe pain in his side. Turns out he has 4th stage non operable cancer in lower lobes of both lungs, pancreas, right kidney, and throughout his intestines. Please say a Prayer for him. DR says he may not see his 61st Birthday, which is Feb 5th.

Quote: They dont need a lot of space, cage height is more a concern. They are pop up fliers so they can actually bonk their head and kill themselves if they have too much height. They are very easy to keep. And if you only want eggs you wont need a fella either. They can be outdoors but have to be caged, and kept out of the elements. Some folks keep them in a fish tank with screen lids. They are excellent layers, pretty much lay daily. I keep mine on game bird feed, they get big fast.

I got mine from funnyfarmmom they arnt full barred only some what on the way so I was hoping to breed barred was assuming they already existed someone at work had actually told me about them so I though someone else did it.. If you have a white lion head with black or blue splashes or near stripps or anything close I'll probably take him
sure thing Will post them on my site when available. I will try tho remember to post them on here as well

Starting to think about separating my breeders into their pens...... Realized I will need to get cracking soon! It kinds sneaks up on you.

Hoping for chicks outside late april.

Going backward:

Outside late april (4-5 weeks old)
3rd week of March - Hatch (20-23 Days) Mine never pay attention to the 21 day thing.
First week of March - Set eggs
last week of Feb - Collect eggs (7-12 days)
at this point it would be nice if some of my lazy bums start laying again......
Mid January -Separate Breeders to get pure eggs (4-6 weeks)
First of January- Start attempting to get my butt in gear (up to 2 weeks)

Planning on Bresse, Mottled Javas. and Cream Legbars. And Turkeys and Muscovies whenever they decide to start laying.
