INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

@jchny2000 i don't know if I posted but definitely saw your post for your first pea egg!! So exciting!

I got word yesterday that my sitter said he woke to 2 of my new hatches dead which i find strange and worried but nothing i can do from here. ; (
I left 4 newly hatched silkies and 2 guinea chicks at home. So not sure which it was.

Last day at Disney. Animal Kingdom today and the 1 I'm most excited about! ;)

Cannot wait to be heading home in the morning, the anticipation of arriving is going to kill me since i know it will be very early Sunday before we get home.

Kids have been back and forth during the vacation. Loved being at the beach in the beginning, Disney has been a battle. They want fast big rides and there just are only a few at each park. None of them are really Disney character fans at their age and its very crowded, lots of walking and hotter with each day. 92 and humid today but arriving now to be early and get a better chance to see the animals.

Take care everyone and I'll be back Sunday! !!

Watering bar. Now I need the reservoir flange silicone to dry and test for leaks again. Will be mounted below the nest boxes inside the coop. Going to build similar outside as well. Will have a total of six or seven cups inside and out.

Quote: Agreed, I use fencing wire, and wire it to a solid object so there is no chance of the light falling.
Oh my, DH just shakes his head. I am still peering into the incubators after lockdown, and staring over the brooders. It just never goes away, you get so hooked.

Granted last year was my Peahen and Peacocks first year for both being mature and her first 6 -8 eggs weren't fertile. ..just saying. .
Are you setting her eggs?

Yes, but only until I have enough peachicks I know will get good homes. I may keep a couple for myself too

They aren't a bird just anyone can keep for sure. My neighbors run out of their house to hear the cock calling, ROFL they just love it! They want a pair too now.
