I actually got it from a plant stand that's in a vacant lot across from the tractor supply down where I live. I was looking for some more herbs to put in and walked by the rosebushes and get in again and then finally just picked one ha ha

I'm with you it's way too hot to ship roses right now. I definitely would not order roses until the fall.

I may order now, but specify a later shipping date.

@Leahs Mom Aslo, the best jam I ever had was homemade with the Concord grapes, because if the sugar is cut to an extremely low amount the jam is tart, and does not taste like grape jam.

Here's some growing chicks. Most are boys, which I plan to sell some if they grow up to have good temperments. In the pics there's Ameraucana X Black Copper Marans, the grey one is either full Ameraucana, or mixed, and a mixed breed rooster X Dominique.

There are more, it's difficult to get good pics.

My friend is bringing me call ducklings to buy from her. She has 7 but I only want maybe two. All honesty I much prefer my darling Muscovy's. Anyone up north looking or wanting Call Ducks? I have pictures on my phone but BYC doesn't work on the phone for me.

Is this scaly leg mites? This is the hen we got from My brother in law since they are moving to town. I don't know if their legs just get like that as they get older and I'm being paranoid, or not.

A hen. Supposedly about 3 1/2 years old.

It does look like leg scale mites to me.
