INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Thank you very much for the advice! I am hoping for older babies that don't need heat anymore, but I'll definitely consider chicks as well if I can't find anything else. I'll just have to keep them a few weeks myself until they're old enough for him to more easily care for. I'll keep updated either way. :)
Good luck and I hope you find them. Raising chicks in the summer is not too bad. You can keep them in a garage (less house dust) and take them off heat and put them in the coop a little sooner.

Tractor supply in Noblesville still had some as of last week. Not sure which kind they were, as I'm not in the market. :)
Hello,

Looking for ducklings. I live in Indianapolis but willing to drive some. Let me know if anyone has some.
thanks
I AM BURIED in Muscoy ducklings. Very prolific good mothers. Message if you are interested.
Do any of y’all have an online source for ordering antibiotics for your flock?
I text my vet now, but you can still get some things on Ebay.

LOVE all your pictures everyone :love! This year has become more about retiring and us doing for us. I've still got my Barred Rocks, Lavender Ameruacanas and Black Copper Maran. I was able to do my annual backup hatch but now we are in molt, ugh :th! I've got friends asking for eggs and my ladies just aren't helping.
Buried in Muscovy ducklings! 2 moms brood well but are not good moms. 3 are on 2nd brood and are fiercely raising those ducklings. The bad mothers will get one more chance and if they won't care for the ducklings they will be culled. Big Daddy is the father of all my Scovy he is a lavender pied, getting old. Need to add a new unrelated Muscovy black or Lavender drake.
I've got a calf due late august, and we will see more late winter. Goats are doing well I may have Kids coming late fall.

OH!!!! I'm going to be a Gramma again, youngest daughter Cassy is expecting another baby! So blessed. She just got her Masters degree in child development and now going for her doctorates degree if I'm saying this correctly. Wyatt will be 3 in October so this timing is so good for her family.
Oldest DD is still in eldercare and I worry every day. This covid thing she's afraid to come home due to confirmed losses at her nursing home. Afraid to expose us and my Dad. It's real guys and not a hoax. Don't trust social media go to the state website for updates.

I call him Frank the Tank. He’s huge, dumb, and equally sweet.

A video of my Sebright. He has a brother that’s basically his twin. I was hoping for one female so I could see how tiny their eggs are, but I’ll have to wait for a crossbreed. Curious to see what a Silkie/Sebright cross would look like.

A look at the new enclosure. My goal for the fall is to move that coop out and repurpose it or build another more basic coop attached to the run.

Congrats on your new grandson/daughter on the way.

Does anyone have any for sale, or know of anywhere/anyone who does?
I know of a lady down in Shelbyville who breeds several colors of Silkies. I can ask her what she has available.

:wootThat’s awesome! How many does that make for you now?

We have 4 grandkids. Youngest one born in January and the one before that is almost one. This darn virus is making us miss a lot of their first year. It’s going by so fast!

How are your goslings doing?

I have 1 grandson 3, one great grandson 26 and 3 great grates on the way lol.
I adopted 2 boys (BILS) at 11 and 13 so they aren't much younger than I. That bond is tight and I'm very close with my boys.
Goslings are getting huge! to young to tell sex but I'm thinking there are 2 ganders. They have longer necks early on.
Can anyone recommend a processor in the northwest? I have too many roos:th
I'm from there Cedar Lake area but haven't been there for 22 years. Try a google search poultry processors near me. State line packing used to be a popular butcher.
