I would also like to know about the lowell auction, not sure if chickens are selling or how much they charge to sell there. or if anyone has info about the one in kankakee, its greatly appreciated.

update on the lowell auction. its called niemeyers and it's every monday at 10 a.m. i went the day before yesterday and it didnt seem too bad. one full grown turkey went for 35 dollars and a pair of white crested black polish went for 26 dollars. everything else went for about 7-9 bucks per animal. eggs went for about 2.50 a dozen. and most people sold in bundles of 5, 10, or 15 dozen. seemed like a pretty good set up. just in case anyone was wondering. now i want to go see about that one in kankakee, i go to the slot car track there anyway so it seems like it wouldnt be that bad. anyone have any info on that place????
