Saw part of the series on PBS

is that the one with Mark Rylance playing Thomas Cromwell? I saw that; it was terrific. The author Hilary Mantel was involved with the dramatization too if I remember aright, and then died very suddenly shortly after the third part of the trilogy was broadcast. A great loss.

I am reading the big "The Chicken Health Handbook" by Gail Damercrow. I am feeling ...........when I read the endless ill health, symptoms and treatments/no treatment.

I have that book, and a few others by Damerow. Reading about all the things that COULD go wrong can be overwhelming. Of course, the good news is that the great majority will NEVER happen to your feathery ones. But, if it does, you have a reliable resource.

I am reading The Everlasting Man and A Miscellany Of Men by G. K. Chesterton (unrelated despite similar titles), and listening to Maryrose Wood’s Incorrigible Children series (very entertaining while painting).
