Looks like it. But I've had pullets with large combs that has fooled me, so give a week, or to longer on the rest.Am curious if opinion on sex remains the same. One of them has started crowing, I have yet to see who it is. Beginning to think I may have 4 males, 1 female![]()
They were sold to me as Indio Gigante chicks, they had adults on the property. Am wondering if I’m not giving them enough of something, they’re starting to get more feathers on their necks but the buff one is still super naked. Are some of those turkens?
in all honesty they really dont look like Indio Gigante chickens. im pretty new to the breed, but the naked neck ones look like the naked neck chicken breed. their proportions dont really add up either. we have two that are only 2.5 months old and we have been joking that they are giraffes since week 2. loooong legs and necks. these look like normally proportioned chickens? If they had them on property they may have just had an egg mix up. Id contact them about it since naked necks retail for like $5 while indio gigante go for easily ten times that. They were sold to me as Indio Gigante chicks, they had adults on the property.
