Indoor quail habitats

I just found out I can only keep 15 birds on my property. That being said a have that quota filled with chickens and ducks. So now what to do with my 25 quail. I have them in a bedroom. 3'X3'broder with a 3'X3' attached aviary. I have a 4'x8' rolling aviary out side that I might bring indoor. Does anyone have any thoughts about this. Does anyone have their quail indoors? What do you keep them in? I'd like to enclose the bottom of the aviary I already have, add a sand base with plants . Maybe grow sprout for them . My poor husband. How many hours of light should hey get for egg production? My Quail are courtnix. Do you think the sound they make will make us crazy during the mating season. They have already started showing off their voices. Thanks in advance with any help you have.

Hi, I keep my quail in a bedroom. I built pens with netting stretched across the top, I keep them on sawdust I wouldn't recommend sand as the moisture from the quail poo is an issue and it will stink. I have linoleum down on the floor because it's so easy to clean. I think you will need good ventilation with 25 as I have 15 and they create alot of dust. I wouldn't keep more than one or two males they will drive you insane having them in the house if you have more. I hope that helps.
