About a month ago I got 4 pullets but turns out 2 of them are Roos and I can't keep them due to city ordinance. Ideally I'd like to add 2 more pullets and found some that are the same age as my girls. I know intoducing new chickens to your existing flock can be tricky so what advice can ya'll give me? My girls are still inside in a large brooder (here in MI it's still getting down into the 30s at night) How long should I quarantine them? Can I keep them in the same room, just a different brooder? Once quarantine is over, I slowly introduce them correct? TIA

I would pen them side by side for a while with supervised mingling after about a week, than go from there based on their interactions, whether you will need to, and how long you will need, to keep separating them. Once you are comfortable with their interactions you can leave them together.
