Hi, I have 2 goselings and 10 ducklings that are 5 and a half weeks old. I usually let my ducks out on our pond by 10-12 weeks old. This is my first time with geese, and I was wondering when they will be totally feathered out and almost full grown. Excuse me for asking such a dumb question, but I need to know.

I believe it's about the same as for your ducks, about 12 weeks or so. I put my ducks on the pond at like 8 weeks and they do just fine.

Your geese should be feathered out by 8 weeks. They are usually feathered out pretty good on their shoulders and back by 5-6 weeks but their underbellys also need to be feathered well before you attempt to put them in deep water. Feathering can be slowed down by keeping them too warm so the time can vary. Hope this helps.
