Hi there,
I noticed something on my hen’s foot last night. Today I soaked it in warm soapy water and it seems like a scab came off. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and am going to wrap it in vet wrap. It doesn’t seem to bother her. Does it look like a growth or just an infected cut? I appreciate any feedback!!

I probably would not wrap it, since vet wrap can tighten and cut off circulation. I would place her on an old clean towel bedding inside a wire dog crate at least overnight. It looks like either an injury or some type of growth. Could even be a fungus from the soil. I would put some Betadine or plain neosporin on it and leave it open.

Thank you ☺️ I’ll skip the vet wrap and see how it looks tomorrow after putting neosporin on it and keeping her in clean environment.

Looks like a growth.
Any other birds have it?

Might help to know.....
