One of my hens looks to have an infected foot. The pad is very swollen and it is swolen up between the toe on top also. It is definately warmer to the touch than the other foot and she is limping. no great reaction to my touching it like it's hurting her bad. Anyone know of any cure/antibiotics available? Spending $ at a vet is not an option

bumblefoot probably

Bumblefoot is a common infection for domesticated poultry and waterfowl such as chickens and ducks. Due to constant walking on hard, rough, or sharp surfaces birds can develop small wounds on bottom of their feet. These wounds are very susceptible to infection by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria which can cause bumblefoot in poultry and waterfowl. Treatment often requires opening the wound to drain the pus and antibiotic treatment.
