Infected Pins

I have a hen, who molted in April and is still walking around with a bare back, plus broken pins that aren't coming out. Some of these broken pins are quite large. I think some of this is roos doing it to her, keeping new feathers from growing in, as she is also scabbed.

Yesterday I noticed one wing is bright red and hot to touch around some of the big broken pins, so I'm assuming infection. Is there any way to treat it?

Sounds as if you need either: fewer roosters, hen saddles for your hens, or to separate her from the roosters or the roosters from the flock.

They all free range together, I'll have to ponder how I can manage that.

What would I use to treat the infected area? Any ideas?
