My Polish hen Thimble has an infected toe; we’re not sure what happened or how long it’s been that way.
She isn’t lethargic and she’s foraging normally, but she steps gingerly with that foot sometimes.
My mom and brother are caring for the birds while I’m at school; they have been spraying it with vetericyn and bandaging it loosely.

I’m worried that the narrow section above the swelling might be going necrotic/auto amputating. Is there anything else we can be doing?
