infected vent? anyone been through this and can shed some light please? GRAPHIC not for the squimish

Female Hen Dropped off today. Buff Silkie 1yrs old very skinny and has infection on her vent please any worthy advice would be appreciated

Looks like a bad case of vent gleet (yeast). You might want to try Monistat, Nystatin or Diflucan (Fluconazole). Pick all of the infection off, and keep it clean.

Can she still poop? I have seen a couple like yours that scab over and can't poop.
