Infectious Coryza in Chicks

If a pair of birds have infectious coryza disease, would their offspring be free of disease if they were hatched in an incubator an never came in contact with the parents, or any other infected bird? Or, would the disease be transfered genetically?

I believe Coryza is one of those unfortunate diseases where the infection can be spread from the hen through the eggs.
