Infertile eggs... stay or go?!

I have 2 female Aylesbury ducks. They've just turned 1, they have both made individual nests and lay most days. I'm fully confident the eggs are infertile. The issue in having is that their nests are not in the safe place where they sleep meaning it's a lengthy stressful process for me to get them in on an evening. They also sit on them asap and don't move all day not even to drink or eat. What us the least stressful way to remove the eggs?! Has anyone got any suggestions or tips.

Don't over think it, they are broody and will get over the egg removal in short... Simply reach under them and snatch the eggs, keep the nest egg free and they will snap out of being broody eventually...

You could try moving the nest into the coop and see if they accept the location, but I would still regularly remove the eggs every day...

IMO you are still over thinking it, people like myself with chickens take eggs away every single day from broody birds that insist on sitting on anything round, they squawk and fit while it's happening but they forget about it in short and go about their business as if nothing happened...

I shoe my girls off their nests and take the eggs. I'm not worried about them seeing me take them or not seeing me. They snap out of the broodiness and get used to the idea of the eggs being taken pretty quickly. Now they just lay in the nest then go about their day.
