Hello! I am a new chick mom and am (of course) not done with the coop -- my chicks are 4 weeks old and getting bigger!!! Everything's done except the roosts, nesting boxes and separate space for sick hens or future mamas. I read somewhere and can't find it now that I should have a separate space for these purposes. My coop measures 9' x 6'. How big should my infirmary be? Should it be completely fenced in all the way to the ceiling? I was considering making a wall removable to aid in cleaning. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!
