I would like two male and a female.

First question is what kind of space requirement is needed. I live on a 5600 sq ft lot in a small bungalow in a residential neighborhood.

My whole yard is fenced and i currently have two dogs. Clearly i will build a aviary for the birds. Im a custom home builder so the birds may just end up with a nicer home than mine as the aviary will be a centerpiece of my prized garden.

What kind of health care do the birds require.

How much hands on time do they want with people?

What kind of noise do they create. Like are they like keeping a rooster?

Also i am considering making a caged aviary with a door through my foundation and into a pen in my basement for protection form the elements. Is this a good or bad idea and if bad for what reasons. Like do the birds smell?

The 2 males a 1 female will not work. The males will fight for the hen in breeding season(Jan-Feb) and one will be killed. You would be better off with 1 male and 2 females.A 8x10 will house a trio nicely, but bigger is always better.
As for care they need a gamebird feed, wormed twice yearly.I do mine in Jan before breeding season and again in August after they are done laying.I use Ivemec for worming. And of course fresh water and grit should be available to them.
These are gamebirds so hands on will probably not happen unless you spend lots of time with them.
They are really only noisy in breeding season and no wheres near as loud as a rooster.
They are very cold hardy birds and don't require much protection from the cold.In the winter months just make sure no drafts can get to their roosting perch. My pens are 6' hi and I poly the top 3' and leave the bottom 3' open.
