I’ve been trying to figure out when she will start laying it seems every article says something different about when they start laying anywhere from 9 months to 3 years and the male sexually mature at 3 years. Looking for some real world knowledge on them if anyone has some. I think they’re probably 7-8 months old now I can’t remember exactly when they hatched out.

I am fairly sure that Embden’s are like pilgrims, and that they have an approximately three month, breeding season, yearly, starting in approximately late February ending in approximately early June laying one egg approximately every other day, for a total of approximately 35 eggs.
When late February early March rolls around if your goose is old enough, she will start to lay eggs. Also, the ganders will turn extra protective and you will see your birds will mate in and around water sources for these same 3 to 3 1/2 months approximately.
The rest of the year, no mating, no eggs
