I think I mentioned Himself bought a new dog a few weeks back. Found out today the poor thing has heartworms
. So, the fun begins with treatment. -Oddly enough, of the othere 2 dogs,the one who has shunned his presence seemed to pity him tonight after his 2nd dose & actually curled up next to him to sleep.
Anyway, it reminded me of our discussion abt guineas & worms, as I was curious if they could get heartworms. - seems logical, but have not found evidence as of yet. Then again, cats can get them but they aren't physiologically suitable as long term hosts.
