Info on white turkeys?

I have 11 days before they arrive and I can't WAIT. Was outside today busting apart pallets to get my coop for them done. I don't know how warm it got, probably not too high, but the sun came out around 3:30 pm and it felt nice on the driveway, so Iwas working in a v-neck tank top. Anything above 35 in Michigan is considered warm.

You need to keep the Poults in a draft free place wild game bird starter for food and of course make sure they are shown were the water is and make sure they are drinking and eating.
keep the temp around 95 degrees lowering the temp by 5 degrees a week till you get to around 75 to 80 degrees you can tell if they need more heat by the way they act.
unless you have really warm weather days and nights do not allow them to touch the ground till 8 to 10 weeks of age or fully feathered and on cool nights you may still need a heat source.
I used one ounce of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of water for good health.
I did this and did not loose one of my 17 Poults I had shipped to me.

Best of luck and enjoy.
