I have 2 turkeys that are Blue Slate and they're almost a year old. One has a much redder comb and a bigger knot of its head. I also heard a gobble today.

This was the first day I've heard a gobble. I saw the one with the redder head puff up and try to stomp on one of the male ducks that came too close but it wasn't like I've seen in wild turkeys. The one with the redder head is your tom if you heard a gobble. The other is a hen. At first I thought they both looked like hens. Has either been displaying? Both sexes will do it, but not always.
Thank you for the FYI! I'm new to owning turkey and I'm not sure about much of them. I follow the guidelines for their feeding and housing from my friend who gave them to me as gifts when they were newly hatched. Sadly he's been in the ICU so I couldn't ask him about their genders. You do have a pair. In the last photo, the tom is on the left and the hen is on the right.
FYI, turkeys do not have combs. They do have snoods, wattles and caruncles.
Your tom has a bald, featherless head. Your hen has a "mohawk" of feathers running up the back of her neck and on top of her head.
