Hello guys
I'm interested in some information about vaccines.

1. What is the volume "dose in ml" that is usually needed for each chicken during vaccination that the syringe will pass\push in?
2. What route of administration we use for H9N2, Avipoxvirus, Marek's disease, Salmonella?
3.Regarding the salmonella vaccine, is it necessary? Is it more beneficial for the bird's health or the consumer of its eggs"household needs only"?
4. What needle do you recommend me to buy in good price to use for my 4 chickens flock? I prefer something non-disposable.

Thank you so much :)

Every vaccine is different. Some are injected, some are eye/nose drops, some can be given in drinking water, the coccidiosis vaccine is usually sprayed on the chicks as gel drops. Marek's has to be given to chicks that are no more than a day old. Most of the vaccines come in very large amounts, either 100's or 1000's of doses, so most back yard chicken keepers don't vaccinate unless they have a specific issue that they want to take care of. So I would search for any specific vaccine you really feel is necessary, and research that one. I personally don't vaccinate the birds I hatch here, and if I buy them then they have whatever the hatchery gave them. Many back yard flocks are the same, purchased birds vaccinated, and home hatched are not.
