Information I would really like to see

I don't know about anyone else, but it sure would be helpful to me if the information displayed to the left of messages included a couple of basics like WHERE the poster is (since climate is very important to a lot of issues, as is distance in some other cases), and WHAT EQUIPMENT the poster is using (references to "my incubator" would be a whole lot more informative if we could actually glance to the left and see what sort of incubator(s) the person has.

My two cents, and possibly of no interest to anyone else, but I do find myself trying to ascertain these facts as I read a lot of the messages.

And, it's not as if I don't know full well that everyone involved is probably doing more work already than is fathomable. I do not make this suggestion without realizing that I might be being rude by asking for "more" when this forum is already so very much. My input is not meant to be critical or demeaning....

What about a link that goes to "My Incubator"? Something like that?
I've seen that (although it's been called "My Garage") on a motocross forum. You click on it and it goes to a page that shows the type of dirtbike the person rides, where they ride, and what mods are on their bike.
People are able to put where they are from.. some just choose not to.

Hi Susan, each member has the option of adding their location and other things for public display. When they do it ia great, but we also understand the right to privacy if they wish. It is something that will always be an option for each member to decide, but never a requirement.
