That particular dog is a little high strung for the average family, but anyone willing to put in the work could integrate her easily into the household. You saw video of her "at work" I don't know this particular dog to know how she is when not on the field, but to be a good Sch. dog they NEED an off-switch. A dog that was constantly go go go go would burn out pretty quickly (think of the over-achieving perfectionist at your office - always frazzled and stressed)

Hmmm, an adult dog he had never met before and had shipped unattended across the country didn't turn out to be what he wanted - THAT'S NO SURPRISE!
What a mess.

EDIT - Just watched her video - there is certainly still work to be done with that dog, but she is beautifully focused on her human. I'd take her any day.
