Inheritance of combs....question...

I am putting my RIR roos over some Silver Laced Wyandotte hens, to create a sex link.

My question is, since the RIR roos have a stand up comb and the SLW hens have a rose comb, what kind of comb should I expect the chicks to have? Just wondering.

You should get Rose Comb but if the Wyandotte has any Single Comb in her you could get some Rose and some Single comb.
I say this because I have Rose and Single comb Rhode Island Reds and if I cross the Rose comb with the Single comb I will/ do get some with a Rose and some Single comb.

Ok, thank you, well, that is interesting.

Anyway, supposing they turn out to be rose combs as expected, they will be a bit hardier for the winter.

I think this is going to be a good and interesting cross.
