Rhode Island Red and buff Orpington would be my best guess!

the darker brown is a Rhode Island Red, and the light one is a Buff Orpington.

If I have one chicken tip for you, it would be beware of chicken math! It will strike eventually!

Oh it has struck! I started in November last year with 7. Added 3. 1 died and rehomed 2 roos. Hatched 2 and added two ducks. Added 7 more. Lost 3, rehomed one rooster and lost a duck. (Dispatched 8 raccoons) added two more ducks and these two hens. Asked for an incubator for Christmas this year.
