Went into the emergency room earlier this morning for severe pain in my neck left of my esophagus they thought it was my thyroid but their diagnosis is histoplasmosis. They gave me a steroid shot (OUCH!) and told me to Google everything I could on the disease to protect myself from now on. I have to follow up with my primary care physician for an MRI to make sure that that is the true diagnosis and not something more serious.
So, how’s your day going?

Thank you but no. It was a steroid shot in the upper butt cheek. Stung a bit——a lot !

I would’ve never thought that that’s what it was considering my symptoms but at least it’s not a thyroid problem or whatever strange disease he was first talking about. And it’s not a goiter so there are definitely some positives in this
