My dog who usually loves and adores his chickens injured one of them last night. We didn't see what happened just some feathers and the rooster on his back, but still alive. His one eye is bloody red and he acts like he cannot control his neck. He can move it for a few seconds and then it lolls to the side or back which makes him lose his balance. We gave him some water last night and have him isolated from rest of flock, but not sure what else to do for him. Is there anything at all we can do for him? Wouldn't you know it-he's my favorite rooster!!!
