Injured baby duck

I have a 4 week old baby duck that a dog nipped. I cleaned the wound with clean water,, peroxide, the neosporin.
I separated it from others. It fussed so much I put 1 of the others in with it and it calmed down. My question is can I put coconut oil on the wound?

I would not put anything on the wound other than a topical antibiotic (neosporin.) Clean with mild soap and water daily until it is healed. Do not be afraid to "scrub," you want to be certain you remove any debris that may enter the wound. Any oil would cause this debris to stick to the wound and you certainly don't want that!

My injured duck is doing great. Growing like crazy. She loves to take a shower. She's a sweet girl. Her sore spot is almost healed completely. Thanks for the help!
