Well then, so sorry for the long wait. School has started and the past few weeks had no end (even the weekends). I was constantly busy.
Along with that I have an update on Twilight. She is still alive which is very puzzling. She is still laying eggs, no mites, healthy poo, healthy feathers and condition. She still has two paralyzed legs, but that is it. Because I am very busy, I had not noticed that she has had more trouble than usual getting to her food and water. She has lost considerable weight. Now I filled more food in different places and feed her treats to keep her eating and to keep her weight in check. She has gained a lot of weight since.
Since it is hard to take care of her during my busy schedule, I am considering culling her to let her go. I don't want to let her suffer until she dies. How do I dispose of a Mareks diseased chicken or should i just take her to get a necropsy instead?
Also did the Mareks disease die out? If so will she regain leg movement? Shouldn't the disease have killed her already? There have been no other symptoms in the rest of my flock.
I want to try the Asprins but I do not have any and am hoping to try it out as soon as possible.
