Injured beak

This morning one of my girls got her beak caught under our run door and hard wire. I feel terrible. I wiped the blood off as much as I could and applied hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin. Will it heal? Should I be doing anything else? She seems to be eating ok and staying to herself. I have attached a picture. Thank you!

I believe this may need to be mended. I’m envision some sort of mesh with something like superglue, but I’m not sure where tgat blood is coming from, so please hold off until someone with experience with this weighs in. Beaks are VERY sensitive, though. Until someone who knows whether this needs to be mended and knows how to do it, I suggest offering soft (dampened) feed in a dish that’s deep enough she won’t hit her beak on the bottom.

Welcome to BYC. I am not an expert on beak injuries, but avian vets though expensive, may be the best ones to help. Superglue with a empty teabag is sometimes used to repair broken beaks. Beak can become cracked or actually fractured. As micstrachan said, feeding moist feed from a tall bowl may be helpful. Here are some links for help:
