Injured chick

four week old chick has a severe injury to one wing and back. Wing seems to be broken with exposed bone end. Featherless area extends from shoulder to back of neck. I have cleaned it and applied Bactine every day. I have her in the house. She eats well, although she is much smaller than her same age sisters. It is staying clean but not healing. Can she survive with the bone end exposed? Should I take her to a vet for amputation of the wing? I don't want to spend a lot of money.

took a while to get a picture, as I am not too computer savvy. Had to wait until my son came. The chick is now 5 weeks old. We have her in the house in a small cage. She is eating and drinking well, and we clean the wound every day and are putting silvadene on it. One of the large scabs fell off last night during the cleaning process.

Still trying to get a picture. Problem seems to be that my email has changed since I was active on this site. Phone has different email. I am just not computer savvy enough. Son will try to help! Went to my vet with pictures, and they were open to looking at the chick, although they say they don't treat birds. We will wait a while, as she seems to be slowly healing. As far as what caused it, I don't know what happened. She was in a shipment of 18 chicks, and all others are healthy and growing. She is much smaller than the others, and just had a tiny bare spot on one wing at the beginning. It then grew to cover her back, neck and shoulder, and she doesn't move the wing on that side. Don't know whether bone is broken or whether that movement will come back.
