Injured comb

One of my other roosters picked at Mac's comb and now it looks torn on the end and lays over. Will this heel?

Try putting some neosporin on it so as not to get infected. I have never had this issue so I am not sure how it will heal over, but maybe someone else here can tell you.

Thank you, I will try that in the morning. It's sad because it was so large and he was so proud of it. But it looks torn a tiny bit from the back.

Mac looks like a speckled sussex. I have 9 of them omb should heal not sure that it will look the same as it did before the skuff hapened but that will just give him more chatacter. You should see some of my roo's combs!!

Too funny. Thank you I will medicate it and hope for the best. My husband said he just n eeds bbque sauce. Ugh! But Mac was one of my first chicks and I pet him 3 or 4 times a day till he was to big. But he "knows" he my favorite LOL
