My beautiful salmon fav layed her first egg today, unfortunately the Isa brown attacked her on the best, blood everywhere and an injured comb. What do I do?
Miss isa has been locked away, whilst my injured girl is with her friends.
Any suggestions?

Clean the wound up and get some neosporin on it. Chickens are prone to peck at bloody combs/waddles so you might want to switch who's locked up, have the pecked hen away until her comb scabs over then she should be fine.

thanks so much, blood is splattered in the hen house, so she was cornered and attacked! I am not sure what neosporin is, is it an antiseptic?

Last week my coronation sussex roo savaged one of the hens. Left her with her comb detached half way along. I sprayed it with cetrigen (, purple spray) you can buy it at horseland. Today it has healed completely . All be it , a little droopy.

I got home just after dark. With the offender locked up. The other girls all cuddled up, laying on my poor girl keeping her warm.
