INJURED DUCK FOOT!

Hi everyone. I noticed today that my ducks hind claw (I'm not sure what it's called) but it has completely ripped off. It doesn't seem like he is in pain but I'm worried about it getting infected. Should I take him to the vet or is there anything I can do to help him?

I don't know much about ducks, but if it doesn't seem to be bothering him and it's not an open wound, I would think that there's probably not much to do other than monitor it. You might have more help in the duck section, though.

I'm honestly not really sure. It's not bleeding but I don't know how it could've closed up so fast, I just noticed it yesterday. Should I not worry about it?

I would not worry if it is not open and if he is acting normal.

This is a bit late, but I had a chick lose a toe once. Just keep an eye on it, maybe you could wrap it in something? It should heal fine
