Injured Duck with maggots

I have a Duck that survived an attack (raccoon or weasel) that the flies found before I did. I cleaned the wounds and put vetericyn on them. One wound is deeper than the rest and yesterday (about 24 hours later) I found maggots in the wound. I poured hydrogen peroxide on it, then cornstarch and then more peroxide. I rinsed her and put her back in her hospital bin in my house. Well, today I checked and she still has maggots in that wound. Should I continue the same treatment or is there a better/easier way to kill the maggots without harming the duck?

I am sorry to say, but it may be better to cull ( not sure what it’s called for ducks). It’s a tuff decision to make but more than likely she is full of maggots and eggs from the flies.

Is she eating drinking and moving normally?

she's acting normal, just a lot slower and taking a lot of naps. Her injuries are scabbing over and healing. She is a little more active now that she has a roommate.
The raccoon or whatever it is tore a hole through the wall of the duck house and took a duck. This week has been hard, I had five ducks and in one night the predator took one duck without a trace and later killed another duck and injured Daisy (the one this thread's about). After last night's attack I have one healthy, unharmed duck left, so I brought her in the house where I know she's safe.

Just before dinner she started acting weaker and after dinner I went to check on her and found that she had passed.
On a positive note earlier I took my healthy duck (Daphne) outside for a while and my drake (Trouble) came running to her. Talking to neighbors it seems he has been all over my neighborhood.

Sorry she didn't make it :(

If this ever happens in the future, the maggots need to be removed with tweezers. Just pouring peroxide on them won't do it. Also, you'd need to check daily and remove any new maggots that hatched.
