Injured duckling Bill/Infection

Yesterday TSC gave me two baby ducks. One has a hole on the tip of its bill and the tissue around the hole is really soft. I’m trying to figure out what I can put on it to help it heal. I have antibiotic ointment, silver honey, A&D and vetericyn spray. It’s on the tip of its bill so whatever I put on there has to to be safe for it to ingest. Is there anything else I need to do?

Personally I would try the silver honey. I know I have used triple antibiotic ointment on places where they just peck it off, and likely ingest it, but that's only been in adults.

The vetericyn or the silver honey. The thing is to keep it clean and prevent infection, it will heal. Do your ducklings have clean water deep enough to dunk their whole bill into ?
