Injured duckling

My daughter was cleaning our the food and water for her ducks and had she accidentally stepped on one. It is now limping but will get up and walk and get back down, it also looks like it’s panting while breathing. What can we do?? Please help

I really don't like it that she is panting, Is she able to put any weight on the foot that was injured? Is a vet an option?

Hi! Thank you so much for your response. She’s able to stand and walk a bit but then she just sits back down. She definitely doesn’t have the energy she did before. Can I send you a video of her breathing? I’m not sure if we are being paranoid but when I see the other duck the breathing looks different.

I think the whole body, she stepped back as the duck ran towards. My daughter is so distraught right now. The duck will stand and move but get back down and is definitely not herself
