I have a buff duck whose eye is injured, it almost looks like she's crying, the actual eyeball looks blue and cloudy as if she's blind in it. She is acting really lethargic, and her eye is generally closed, probably to keep dirt out of it. I'm not sure what could've done it, she is cooped up with one chicken along with another buff duck. I was thinking my chicken could have got defensive, but they're usually not a problem. I also thought of her getting poked by something like a zip tie or wire or something. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion of what to put on it because all I have is vet spray and Neosporin, but I wasn't sure what should go on it since it's on the eye.

They aren't the best pictures since it's dark out, but this is the general idea of the problem, I'd love to get some advice on what to apply to the eye to help her infection.

Poor girl!!

Use salt water solution to bathe the eye: 1 tablespoon salt in a cup of boiled and cooled water.

Use tetracycline eye ointment afterbathing, to prevent and treat any infection.tetracycline eye ointment is available from pharmacies

Good luck! Keep us updated
