Injured Hen- losing feathers?

So about nine days ago, one of my hens was attacked by something and was injured badly. she had a few scratches, and a large gash. We sprayed Vetericin on her wounds every day, and she seems to have improved, but recently has lost a lot of feathers which are now scattered across the floor. Does anyone know why? Could it be the stress? We have kept her alone in a large dog crate with plenty of food, water, a perch, and a nesting box, and I care for her every day, I don't know what's wrong!

Stress will cause a chicken to go into molt, especially this time of year when they tend to anyhow. An attack would certainly be cause stress for her.
