Injured hen now shivering.

Ok sounds good. I would do same thing wait a week and see how she is doing. Is she doing any thing that tells you she is in pain?

Just holding her eye shut, her eye has definite issues. Im cleaning the outside of it with Vetericyn every time we feed her. Other than that, she will look around when we go in and say hi to her and then her head just drops slowly down like she’s falling asleep. Then she pops her head back up again, and it droops down again. She seems very tired.

Okay. Just let her rest. She might be okay. My rooster attacked my one hen and she looked like she was dead there was so much blood and she was holding her eye shut. I put her in a dog crate in the garage and it eventually healed she now has clear vision in both eyes and doesn't gave any scab on her head. Let me know how yours does. Hopefully she will be okay❤ My hen doesn't have neorolgical issues either👍

I will post updates as we go. Do all chickens despise being syringe fed this much? It’s brutal!

We ended up putting her down today. 6 days with zero improvement, still refused to eat anything at all (tried scrambled egg this morning), force feeding was just terrible. I would have kept at it had I seen improvement but there was just none. She looked so sad.
