I don't think it is Mericks. I had a hen who I believe had that a good while back, and she was lame in both legs, along with other symptoms like dropped wings, loss of appetite.
What I do have is a young layer who started favoring one foot, and now she is not using that leg at all. She hops on one foot. I see no sign of injury or anything on the bottom of the foot. She had poopy vent feathers about a week ago, so I gave her goat wormer. I saw her drop a normal stool two days ago.
She is eating and laying eggs.
How can I help her?

Edit, her poop is still not quite right. I don't see any worms. I put corid and electrolytes in her water. She has already had goat wormer.
And here are pictures of her leg and foot. I washed it off best I could without help. She does not protest when I handle her leg or foot.

I had some hens that were limping and using mostly one leg (still got one probably with dislocated toe). It can be mechanical injure like dislocated bone/broken bone/cuts, or things like bumblefoot. 2 of my limping hens were okay except for being isolated cuz other hens/rooster were bullying them :/
