Yesterday my hen (I believe RI White or PR White approx 3 yrs old) started limping. Photos attached are from yesterday at 2pm. First thought was early on bumble foot, soaked foot in epsom salt and wipes clean but I didn’t see any injury (I am under the impression bumble foot is cause by infection in the foot from an open wound?). Anyway, she is eating and drinking and getting some rest in our medical/isolation crate, but now it seems like she won’t even put ANY pressure on it like she is hopping on her other foot. I looked this morning and it seems where here knee is, is bruising blueish. I will attach some photos when I get home this afternoon.
She was not limping yesterday morning, could it be an injury and the reason there was no bruising yesterday was because it was fresh?
