Injured quail chick

This little quail chicks leg got caught in the incubator motor and got bloodied up, luckily I was there and got it out. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do to help them?

Oh no! Poor baby! Can you post pics in normal lighting? What kind of incubator?

I always put grippy shelf liner over paper towels when I put the eggs in lockdown. It keeps the chicks safe and gives them something to help them straighten their toes and strengthen their legs.
