Injured quail

I found a quail in the coop and the right side of its face was pecked. It's face has healed no eye the lid is closed. It eats and drinks but only lays on it's right side doesn't stand. It scoots/ pushes with it feet . I hold it in a sitting/standing position and let it go in hopes it will stand but when I let it go it flops on its side. Is there anything I can do to help it stand/walk?

I don't raise quail, but I do raise other types of poultry. How long ago did this injury occur? You mention that its face is healed, but that takes time.

Doesn't stand but scoots around pushing its feet. It lays on it's side but can hold its head up from ground.
